Whether teachers are reaching out through a parent-teacher conference, sending material home to parents, or putting together a parent involvement workshop, this book will provide everything they need—all in a format that is easy for them to customize to meet the specific needs of their students and parents.
“Reading is the key building block in a child’s educational progress. It is also the
area where parents can have the greatest impact on their children’s education. This
book provides a wealth of information on how you can help parents to enjoyably
interact with their children to ignite their interest in reading, prepare them for
reading, and accelerate their reading development.”
From the Foreword by Nancy Livingston, Ed.D.,
